Camelids Llamas and Alpacas: We see the pet camelids as well as fiber producing animals and brood stock.

Wellness exams - includes routine hoof care, annual vaccinations for Rabies, Clostridium C & D (over-eating disease), Tetanus. Includes worming and boosters for vitamin E and selenium to prevent white muscle disease. Includes vaccination for rhinopneumonitis for camelids housed with equines. We evaluate body scores annually as obesity is such a problem in these animals.

Crias  We recommend examination of newborn crias and their mothers to maximize the chances of having a healthy thriving cria.  Examination of the newborn allows the doctors to detect and address congenital problems.  Testing of IgG in our in-house laboratory evaluates the transfer of passive immunity. 

Sickness exams emergency coverage includes administration of intravenous fluids, treatment for meningeal worm, treatment for choke, heat stroke, overeating disease, polioencephalomalacia, listeriosis, and "failure to thrive" syndrome.

Surgery routine surgical castrations, fighting teeth trimming, growth removal., microchip insertion.
